STCN titles
The Short-Title Catalogue Netherlands (STCN) contains expert descriptions of books printed in the Netherlands and/or in Dutch between the second half of the fifteenth century and 1801 in more than 225.000 editions in over 655.000 copies. It contains descriptions of books in the collections of many heritage institutions in the Netherlands and abroad. All books are described book in hand. Descriptions contain information about authors, titles, imprints, size, collation formula, subject keywords and typographical features, among others. Every edition is distinguished by the STCN fingerprint. Newspapers and ambassadors’ letters are excluded.
